Erik, the artist behind Van Credi, moved to Rome where after a few months he lost his job and his home. He lived on the streets for about six months, sleeping on benches and buses. When he managed to get out of that situation, he attended the Comic Academy. Today he mainly produces acrylic paintings and his main subjects are seascapes and landscapes, very rarely portraits. He places himself in the Impressionism area, but he has a tendency to mix styles, and lately has started to experiment with digital painting and abstract subjects.
