Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) a name which is always remembered when we talk about high class and deep thought paintings. Cezanne was born in Paris, and he was considered a pioneer who had revolutionized the world of art. Cezanne was a post impressionist painter and was the man whose work marked the transition from 19th century art to the revolutionary 20th century world of art. Cezanne was the bridge who had connected the old with the new. He can be clearly recognized by his unique, meticulous brushstrokes, and this is, indeed, one of the biggest compliments for any painter. The mastery in his paintings, tunes, color combinations, and each and every aspect was exceptional. His every painting was the picture form of his ideas. His personality could be easily seen through his canvas. Paul Cezanne had exhibited his paintings in numerous exhibitions, where spectators and critics could not stop themselves from praising him. In 1999, one of his art pieces, "Rideau, Cruchon et Compotier" was sold for $60.5 million at auction and is considered the most expensive still life painting sold in art history.
