Mona Edulesco is an Artist and Architect based in Lyon, France. She is specializing in textural impasto palette knife oil paintings, rendered in an abstract manner, in a modern impressionist style. She loves the amazing textures that can be achieved by working with the medium of oil painting in the impasto technique. She usually works with thick textures and vibrant dynamic color schemes. Her art focuses on city life and urban spaces, but she enjoys the exploration of other subjects such as flowers, landscapes, still life and figures. Although Mona's work is primarily oil-based, she also creates works in pastel, acrylic, watercolor, ink and charcoal.
