Mati Rose McDonough is a San Francisco Bay Area artist, author and illustrator exploring the space where wonky and beautiful equal magic. She published her first art book “Daring Adventures in Paint” borrowing her painting philosophy from Helen Keller’s quote ”Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all”. She has illustrated several children’s books including “I Carry Your Heart” written by EE Cummings. She can usually be found covered in paint in her tiny studio in the trees searching for new color combinations.
