From a studio in the Scottish Borders, Becksy creates lighthearted contemporary portraits of wildlife, from bees to hairy coos to baby rhinos. To create each of her bright, colorful creatures, she uses a prismatic array of oils, a palette knife, and her irreverent eye and love of all animals.
