Arty Guava - Canvas Prints

Originally from Malaysia, Lay Hoon, who works under the moniker Arty Guava, is an artist currently based in Canada whose work spans digital installations, murals, and illustrations. She lives vicariously through her illustrations, which often depict scenes of diverse groups of women coming together to dance uninhibitedly, unburdened and unafraid. A lot of the colours, landscapes and patterns in her illustrations are heavily influenced by her upbringing in Asia and her Peranakan heritage.
