James Ormiston - Canvas Prints

James Ormiston is a New Zealand born artist and illustrator. Through the juxtaposition of strange and incongruous elements, he creates surreal paintings and drawings that act as single frames to a larger untold story. Since any further explanation is withheld, the viewer assigns their own story to each piece. He seeks to counter the strangeness of the scenarios by rendering them in a detailed and realistic way.
