Limited Edition Art by Antonio Camarena
We’ve been proud to work with Antonio Camarena for years, and are thrilled to introduce his new Limited Edition artwork to iCanvas. An artist who mixes pop culture with Japanese elements and touches of Impressionism, his new artwork highlights even more well-known characters and popular films in this fun style.
While he often showcases familiar faces on white backgrounds, he also creates colorful action scenes and decorative typography prints. Taking inspiration from different forms of media throughout the years, he says, “from a very young age I have always liked to draw my favorite characters from movies, cartoons or comics, [and] novels”. Whether it’s anime legends or motion picture stars, his collection is full of recognizable themes with some cultural twists.
His Limited Editions art displays some new icons from television and the big screen, along with other creative, Asian-inspired designs. From giant robots in Japan to a spin on “Back to the Future”, each print gives a unique take on famous scenes and people. You’ll find Naruto enjoying some ramen, a delicate display of the TARDIS with cherry blossoms, and epic silhouettes of the Cowboy Bebop team. We think his portrayals of animated shows and live-actions are sure to excite a variety of fandoms.
