How to Hang Canvas Art: An iCanvas Guide

1. Gather Your Materials
Before you start, make sure you have the following:
- Hammer
- A pencil
- Tape measure or ruler
- Level
- Drill
- Your canvas art
- Wall anchors and screws (comes as a hanging kit with your iCanvas art)
2. Choose the Perfect Spot
Decide where you want to hang your canvas. Consider the height and space around the piece. A good rule of thumb is to hang the center of the canvas at eye level, typically around 57-60 inches from the floor.
3. Mark the Placement
Hold the canvas up to the wall where you want to hang it, placing the level on top to make sure the art is straight. Draw a line in pencil across the top of the canvas to know where you’re going to put your screws in the wall.
4. Install the Hardware
Drill a small hole and hammer in your wall anchor. It should be flat to the wall. Then hammer in the second anchor. Next, drill your nails into each wall anchor, leaving them protruding out about an inch.
5. Hang the Canvas
Holding each side of the canvas, carefully place it on top of the screws. Take a step back to make sure it’s straight. While your work earlier with the level should’ve paid off, you may need to adjust it slightly.
