5 Questions With Zoya Koinash
Artist Zoya Koinash has studied biology, created art for games, and developed images to help university programs help explain abstract words. This unique and varied creative experience can be felt across her intricate and unusual artworks. Playful yet edgy, her prints are full of imagination.
Defining the main mission of her art as “freedom from irrational restrictions,” it’s no wonder her work can feel otherworldly. From flying fish to tea parties in trees to conversations with eternity, her surreal prints offer some psychedelic vibes.
Often full of small details, lots of colors, and peculiar sights, her artwork is a great way to bring some maximalist energy to your space. Even her more simple creations are laced with little oddities. From vibrant cosmic eyes to dapper underwater duds, each print has its own dose of mystery and magic.
