4 Artists Showcasing Cats

These four artists offer cat art in four different ways. Given their unique life experiences and artistic journeys, we’d expect nothing less! From sweet and fluffy to laid-back and retro, we’re taking a look at how four different creators showcase these whiskered critters.

With such majestic features, curious personalities, and respectfully independent nature, cats are part of 46.5 million households in the U.S. alone. Thanks to their beautifully furry appearance and mischievous characteristics, it’s no wonder that artists are incorporating these pretty pets in their creations. While we see these adorable animals depicted as cartoon characters, implemented into fashion, and even incorporated onto ancient Egyptian tombs, artists are finding other ways to include it in their work. Some creators take inspiration from the stereotypical fierce side of felines, while others showcase cats in a different direction.

From wearing food as a costume to lounging on a fancy chair, the work from these artists can bring imaginative playfulness, humorous joy, and more types of vibes. Whether you prefer delightful watercolors or detailed digital illustrations, keep scrolling to find a new favorite artist.
